This presentation explores relationships, eros, and other kinds of loving through the lens of symmetry. In the talk, we tour various techniques in astrology and how to apply them in order to illuminate dynamics at play in these special interactions in our lives. We examine midpoints, traditional Lots for love and marriage, and planetary pictures, including some with TransNeptunians. We explore theories of love, like Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love; Greek words for love; Platonic ideas of love and desire; and, what it means to live an erotic life. There is a short overview of a technique called Zodiacal Releasing from Eros at the end. This 87-minute presentation near Valentine's Day was a fun and steamy one.
